| Magic2k was originally
set up on Halloween 1999 by 4 magicians as part of an University
project.
In less than 4 years, magic2k.co.uk had seen
over 300 members join it's ranks, making it one of the largest
online magic communities on the planet! Many of these members
moved to magic2k.com in 2001 when the new domain was obtained.
Sadly 3 of the 4 magicians lost interest in
Magic2k and so it continued under the steam of one man -
Neil Trigger (below).
Nowadays, we have four main participants in
the furtherment of Magic2k. Namely:
The introduction
in 2003 of the live chat room, TV clips and advanced
user areas are proving vastly popular with all members
and new visitors alike.
We are a non-proffit
making organisation who aim to provide the world
with a central resource for all things magical. If
we lack the information you're looking for we will
endeavour to find it for you. Just let
us know and we'll try to add it. |

Most importantly, Magic2k never
stops evolving. The Magic Calendar keeps you up to date
every day by an inovative script that automatically updates
the website with the latest events from various magic clubs
in the UK and around the world, including conventions, lectures
and get-togethers.
We have the world's only international directory
of strange places †
which we affectionately call "Oddmap".
We have areas where members
and visitors can submit tricks,
articles and a
magic calendar to automatically update the website as
well as quotes and poems.
This makes Magic2k possibly the most interactive and rapidly
expanding magic website in the world! † |
